Day Trips
Take a well deserved
break and join us on an excursion to some local Arizona
attractions. come back and visit often as we will be adding
to this gallery often. Some upcoming trips we have planned
are the Grand Canyon (of course!), the Red Rocks of Sedona,
the Mogollon Rim, the Superstition Mountains, and many other
beautiful locations.

Brins
Mesa - Sedona
This is a beautiful view on the Brins Mesa trail in Sedona, AZ
about 3 miles northwest of town.

Tonto
Natural Bridge
This is the largest travertine bridge (formed from limestone deposits) in the
world. A great day trip just 10 Miles North of Payson, AZ on Hwy. 87, about 90 miles from
Phoenix. Note: Take the Pine Creek Trail from the 1st parking lot for a
scenic hike down to the bridge!

Tempe Town Lake
The subject of much debate and controversy, the man-made Lake is the centerpiece of
the Rio Salado Project, located between the Mill Ave. & Rural Rd. Bridges.

Freestone Park
Located in Gilbert, AZ off Lindsay Rd. between Guadalupe and Elliot, this park is
one of the largest in the East Valley and offers fishing, picnic areas, baseball,
basketball, volleyball, roller-blading, batting cages, and even a working miniature train!
